Brickbit
Chain clears. Cash in combos.
Brickbit is a free pixel block puzzle game by Newp Games where combos are the score. You place pieces on an 8 by 8 board to clear rows and columns, and every clear within three moves grows your combo. Points pile up in a combo pot and cash in when the chain ends, while the chiptune music adds layers as your combo climbs.
Play free in your browser now. The iPhone and Android apps are coming soon.
How to play
- Drag one of your three pieces onto the 8 by 8 board. The NEXT box shows the piece coming after them.
- Fill a whole row or column to clear it.
- Clear again within three moves to grow your combo. Clearing several lines at once makes it jump further.
- The points wait in your combo pot and pay out when the chain ends, so keep it alive as long as you can. The game ends when none of your pieces fit.

What's in it
- Combos are the score
- Points build up in a combo pot and cash in when your chain ends. Longer chains pay far more.
- Music that plays along
- Each song is built from layers. Drums, then bass, then melody join as your combo climbs, and the scenery moves to the beat.
- Plan ahead
- You always hold three pieces, and the NEXT box shows the one after, so you can set up double and triple clears.
- World Tour
- 36 stages across Meadow, Cavern and Neon City, with score goals, combo goals, bits to collect, stones and steel in the way, and a boss at the end of every world.
- Endless and leaderboards
- The classic mode with your best score to beat, plus daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards.
- Brickbit Premium (optional)
- A one-time purchase in the apps adds Speed Run, Zen mode, a 60-board Puzzle Pack, the full shop and your own leaderboard name. The full game is free without it.
- Fair by design
- No ads, no accounts, no timers or energy. Plays offline.

Brickbit questions
Is Brickbit free?
Yes. The full game is free: World Tour, Endless, the leaderboards and a free shop. Brickbit has no ads. Brickbit Premium is an optional one-time $2.99 purchase in the iPhone and Android apps that adds extra modes and cosmetics. The web version has no payments.
How does combo scoring work in Brickbit?
Every time you clear a row or column within three moves of your last clear, your combo grows. Points from the chain collect in a combo pot and are added to your score when the chain ends, so long chains are worth much more than single clears.
